The Promise of the Father

With the outpouring of the Spirit on the Day of Pentecost, the blessings for all nations promised to Abraham commenced.

The gift of the Holy Spirit is described as “the promise of the Father” in the New Testament, which connects this gift to the Abrahamic covenant. The promises to Abraham and his seed are fulfilled in the New Covenant inaugurated by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and the gift of the Spirit is the guarantee that we will inherit all that God has promised.

Perdona a tu Perseguidor

Cuando reaccionamos a la hostilidad con hostilidad e ira, Satanás gana. La realidad de la persecución plantea interrogantes. ¿Cómo debemos responder cuando somos atacados por el Estado, la cultura, la sociedad o incluso nuestra familia y amigos? ¿Es apropiado recurrir a la ira o las represalias, o deberíamos emular ejemplos de la vida de Jesús?  En sus enseñanzas, nos advirtió que esperáramos “tribulación” y nos convocó a seguir su camino (“Si a mí me persiguieron, a vosotros también os perseguirán”).

Era de la Salvación

Las Buenas Nuevas anunciadas por Jesús ofrecen salvación y vida a hombres y mujeres de todas las naciones.

Jesús de Nazaret declaró: “Toda autoridad en el cielo y en la tierra me es dada; por tanto, id y haced discípulos a todas las naciones.” Luego envió a sus discípulos a anunciar la salvación adquirida por su muerte hasta los “confines de la Tierra.” La Era de la Salvación comenzó con su Muerte y Resurrección; por lo tanto, su mensaje vivificante debe ser anunciado a todos los hombres. ¡El Hijo de Dios ha logrado la salvación para su pueblo!

The Glory of God

Since the Word became flesh, the Divine Glory has been manifested in Jesus of Nazareth and all who follow him behold it – John 1:14.

Jesus is the Logos in the Gospel of John, the “Word become flesh” in whom the “Glory of God” resides. He is the True Tabernacle foreshadowed by the Tent carried by Israel in the wilderness where the Glory of Yahweh was manifested in impressive but limited ways. The Crucified Messiah is the true and full manifestation of the Glory of the Living God.

La Gloria de Dios

Desde que el Verbo se hizo carne, la Gloria Divina se ha manifestado en Jesús de Nazaret y todos los que lo siguen la contemplan - Juan 1:14.

Jesús es el Logos en el Evangelio de Juan, el “Verbo hecho carne” en quien reside la “Gloria de Dios”. Él es el Verdadero Tabernáculo prefigurado por la Tienda llevada por Israel en el desierto, donde la Gloria de Yahvé se manifestó de manera impresionante pero limitada. El Mesías Crucificado es la manifestación verdadera y plena de la gloria del Dios Viviente.

En Espíritu y Fuego

Juan bautizó a hombres y mujeres en agua, pero el Mesías de Israel bautizará en espíritu y fuego - Mateo 3: 11-12.

El Evangelio de Marcos comienza aplicando profecías clave al ministerio de Juan el Bautista. Él es el precursor que prepara los corazones y las mentes de Israel para el Mesías ,y Juan lo hace llamando a la nación judía a arrepentirse y bautizando al pueblo “para remisión de pecados” - (Isaías 40: 3-5, Marcos 1: 1-3).

The Logos

The Prologue of John’s Gospel presents key themes of the Book, including the declaration that Jesus is the Logos, the “Word become flesh.” Life and Light are revealed in him to penitent men and women. He is the true “Tabernacle” where God’s “Glory” resides, not the tent in the wilderness or the Temple building in Jerusalem. The Son of God is the true and full expression of God.
